Field work & Training

The IET also make arrangement for the students for some practical training and Exposure of CIVIL engineering projects. Generally, PWD, PHE, WRD, and other private establishments running projects are shown to the students with explanation about the details about the projects by the experts. After successful completion of the training, a certificate is awarded to the students.

PROJECT AND PRACTICAL

After successful completion of theory papers as per the syllabus of ICE (I), the students have to undergo practical course in any one of the Govt. or Private Engineering College or Universities recognized by AICTE. The students have to fill up the forms for practical courses mentioning the preferences about the AICTE recognized college or Universities from the list available in ICE (I) website. The final decisions about the venue and date of project and practical will be done by ICE (I) along with the practical the students will also have to undertake a project work in the same courses or Universities under the guidance of a lecturer. The candidates have to follow the procedure as prescribed by ICE (I) for the project and practical. The final report about the practical and project have to be submitted to ICE (I) for approval.

After the approval of the project and practical, the students are eligible to be awarded Degree or Diploma as the case may be.

AUTO CAD TRAINING

       CAD is an important tool for design for Engineers. The students are provided with AUTOCAD training by ICE (I), after the completion of theory papers. The training usually runs for a total of 30 hours approximately either on online mode or offline mode. After successful completion of AUTOCAD training the students have to appear in an online test of AUTOCAD and have to pass accordingly.
