Qualification

Engineering degree/diploma course (AMICE/T.ENGG) under the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), India.

For Technician Membership Examination (T. Engineering)

Branch: (Civil / Architectural Engg.)         Duration: 3Years

Part-I

He/she must not be less than 16 years of age and has passed the 10th Standard Examination with Mathematics & Science conducted by a recognized Board of Examination or its equivalent.

Part-II

He / she must have passed the part-I of T.Engg. Examination or 12th standard examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or its equivalent.

For ITI Passed Student

ICE (I) holds a Qualifying Examination to facilitate the students who have passed ITI Examination (in the relevant trade) and to allow them lateral entry for enrolment to Part-II of Civil and Architectural Engineering.

Associate Membership Examination (Civil/Architectural)

Duration : 4 Years/3years

Sec A

         He/She must not be less than 18 years of age and has passed the 12th Standard Examination with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry conducted by a recognized Board of Examination and passed Part-I & Part-II of Technician Membership Examination (T.Engg.) conducted by the ICE (I) or three year Diploma in Civil / Architectural Engineering and other branches also awarded by the State Board of Technical Education or equivalent qualification.

Sec B      

He / she must have passed the Section A Examination of the ICE (I) or Section A of the Institution of Engineers (I) after Diploma in Civil / Architectural Engineering or having recognized Degree in Engineering other than Civil / Architectural Engineering.

EXEMPTION

A Candidate who has passed any subject (So from any recognized Institution / College / University and has fulfilled the Examination / Curriculum requirements of the said Body can request Exemption provided:

  1. The subject(S) is included in the concerned syllabus of ICE (I).
  2. Specific request is made by the candidate while submitting the examination form along with attested copy of the Mark sheet / Certificate as the Exemption cannot be taken for granted.

The Exemptions will be shown in the Marks Statement only and no other separate communications will be issued by ICE (I).

 

Engineering degree course (AMIE) under the Institution of Engineers, India

For admission into AMIE Degree Course, the minimum qualification is Diploma passed in any stream or 10 +2 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English (average 45%).

 

Engineering degree/diploma course under the Institution of Motor Industry, India

For admission into Automobile Diploma Course, the minimum qualification is 10th Pass.

 

Engineering degree/diploma course (AMICE/T.ENGG) under the Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers, India

For Diploma :

For admission into Dip IETE Course, the minimum qualification is 10th Pass with average 45% in Maths and Science.

For Degree :

For admission into IETE Degree Course, the minimum qualification is Diploma passed in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or Computer Science & Engineering for Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering respectively or 10 +2 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English (average 45%).
